Scented Pillars - Wax Pillar CandlesOur scented pillar candles are made to burn on a pillar plate or other safe surface. They do not liquify when burning the way our votives do. To get the best performance from a pillar candle, be sure to keep the wick trimmed to a scant 1/4" (trim often!) and do not burn the pillar in a draft or in an area where there is a lot of movement or foot traffic. This can cause the pillar to burn unevenly and/or drip down the side.If your flame is too high or the candle is smoking as it burns, this means your wick is too long. Dip the wick into the melt pool to extinguish it, then straighten it and trim it back to 1/4". | ||||||||||||||||||||
